Arrest/Fire Report – Monday, April 5, 2021

The Northwest Regional Corrections Center announced the arrests of the following individuals:

Kimberly Dawn Burket, 42 of Forest River, ND, for petty misdemeanor drug possession or sale of a small amount of marijuana. Bail supplied.

Wendy Fay Sonterre, 64 of Inkster, ND, for felony 3rd-degree possession of methamphetamine in a school, park, or public housing zone.

Ruben Silva, 28 of East Grand Forks, for felony fleeing a peace officer in a motor vehicle.

Thomas Gonzales Jr., 52 of Crookston, for a felony as a predatory offender knowingly violation registration requirement or intentionally providing false information.

Corey Allen Fogelquist, 30 of Fosston, for misdemeanor domestic assault.

The Crookston Fire Department responded to the following calls over the weekend:


At 5:26 p.m., the CFD responded to the 400 block of Elm St. for a small grass fire. The fire was quickly extinguished, there was no other danger present, and CFD cleared the scene.

At 7:06 p.m., the CFD responded to the 1100 block of Gretchen Lane for a smoke detector activation. Upon investigation, it was determined that the cause was a low battery. There was no danger present, and CFD cleared the scene.
