ARREST/FIRE REPORT – January 10, 2022

The Northwest Regional Corrections Center in Crookston reported the following arrests.

Ciara Marie Goering, 24 of Crookston, for being a Public Nuisance.

Joshua Tyler Noah, 34 of Crookston, for Second-Degree DUI.

Steven Lee Bonham, 36 of Red Lake Falls, for Disorderly Conduct.

Desiree Lynn Vacura, 35 of East Grand Forks, for Neglect of a child.

Sierra Sylvia Guy, 37 of Fosston, for Fifth-Degree Drug possession.


The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls over the weekend – 


At 10:30 a.m., the CFD responded to a call in the Parnell township for concern of carbon monoxide. Upon investigation, no carbon monoxide was found, and the CFD turned over control of the scene to the homeowner and cleared the scene.


At 10:00 a.m., the CFD responded to the 800 block of Washington Ave for a report of a propane leak. Upon investigation, it was found that a dog’s leash had gotten caught on a copper pipe and broke the pipe. The CFD turned off the gas, and an LP company was contacted to make repairs. The CFD then cleared the scene.

At 11:50 a.m., the CFD responded to the 1600 block of University Ave for a leak in a sprinkler system pipe. Upon arrival, the CFD shut the water off and contacted the sprinkler company for repairs. Once the area was deemed safe, the CFD cleared the scene.
