GRAND FORKS POLICE ARREST TWO, SEARCHING FOR THIRD SUSPECT WHO FLED POLICE ON FOOT

On Monday, November 4 at approximately 1:54 p.m. Street Crimes detectives of the Grand Forks Police Department observed a male individual seated in the driver’s seat of a vehicle in the Valley Dairy parking lot at 1220 University Ave.  This male was known to detectives to have an outstanding warrant for his arrest.  Detectives approached the male, identified themselves, and attempted to take him into custody.  The male, identified as 29 year old Grand Forks resident Lonnie FALCON JR., refused to comply with the detective’s commands and fled the area driving the vehicle he was seated in.  FALCON JR stopped the vehicle approximately one block later and attempted to flee from detectives on foot.  A short foot chase ended with FALCON JR being taken into custody near the 300-block of N. 12th Street.
