Crookston Farmers Market

The Crookston Farmers Market will be starting on Thursday, May 28 and will be open every Thursday from 4:00 to 6:30 in the Downtown Square and run through the first of October, except for Ox Cart week, they will be open Saturday from 9:00 to 3:00. Vendors will be selling fruits, vegetables, eggs, meat, soap, crafts, jewelry, baked goods, spices, fresh flowers, plants and more.

Tri-Valley Crookston Summer Fun Pass

A Tri-Valley Crookston Summer Fun Pass will provide rides to activities or appointments in Crookston for ages 5 to 17. Crookston FFA Alumni and Supporters Plant Sale

The Crookston FFA Alumni and Supporters are holding a Plant Sale. All plants are $5 and are available on a first come, first serve basis. Plants are available at the Crookston High School Ag Room (door 18 on back side) starting today from 7:15 to 8:00 a.m. and 3:20 to 4:20 p.m. and continuing on Friday, May 22nd, Tuesday, May 26th, and Wednesday, May 27th. Pay at pickup by cash or check made out to Crookston FFA Alumni and Supporters. All proceeds support Crookston FFA Chapter. Crookston Classic Cruisers’ first cruise of the year is today, leaving Freddy’s shop at 6:00 p.m. sharp and then heading to  Sparkey’s 218 Grill in Red Lake Falls.

Minnesota Citizens Concerned for Life Chapter 45

Crookston Memorial Day activities

The Crookston Memorial Day 2026 schedule includes ceremonies at 8:00 a.m. at Hafslo Cemetery, 8:45 am at Gentilly Cemetery, 10:00 am at the Oakdale Cemetery and 11:15 am at the Sampson Bridge for a Naval Ceremony. Sponsored by the Crookston Veterans Council, which includes VFW and Auxiliary, American Legion and Auxiliary, DAV and Auxiliary, and the Beyond the Yellow Ribbon of Crookston.

Fisher Memorial Day activities

A Memorial Day Program will be held at the Fisher Public School Auditorium on Monday, May 25, at 10:00 am. The Fisher American Legion Unit 242 Military Honors will be presented at the Greenwood Cemetery at 10:35 a.m., the Fisher Lutheran Cemetery at 11:00 a.m., and Bygland Lutheran Cemetery at 11:35 a.m. The Fisher American Legion Auxiliary Memorial Day Luncheon will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Fisher American Legion located at 318 Thompson Avenue in Fisher. A memorial salute to Sheldon Roningen will be held following the luncheon at 1:30 p.m.

Climax Memorial Day activities

Sand Hill Lutheran Church, rural Climax, MN, Memorial Day Program is scheduled for Monday, May 25, at 10:30 a.m. Guest speaker is April Larson from the Bagley area, who joined U.S.M.C. in 1972 and retired after 25 years as a Chief Warrant Officer 3. She will be presenting a message plus musical selections. Honor Guard Ceremony and lunch following the program. Everyone welcome. Red Lake Falls Memorial Day activities

The Red Lake Falls Annual Memorial Day service will be held May 25th at Riverside Park in Red Lake Falls. Following the service, a luncheon will be held at the Red Lake Falls Community Hall for any and all members of the area. The luncheon will be “free will”. All veterans are invited to eat free in honor of their service. The menu will include tater tot hotdish, bread, bars, and beverages. All proceeds will be used to support the Honor Flight program for veterans. The event is being sponsored by the Red Lake Falls Lions.

Fertile Lions Club

The Fertile Lions Club will be serving lunch from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday, May 25, at the Fertile Community Center following the Memorial Day Program. The proceeds from free-will donations will go to the Fertile Food Shelf.

Tri-Valley Summer Office Hours

Beginning May 29 through Sept. 4, the Tri-Valley Administrative Office building will close to walk-in visitors at noon on Fridays. The agency will continue operating during its regular business hours (8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday), and Tri-Valley programs and staff will remain available by email and by phone at 800-584-7020 or 218-281-5832.

Crookston Fire Department Open House

The Crookston Fire Department will have an open house on Saturday, May 30, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at 620 S. Main Street. Events include a kids’ obstacle course, station and equipment tours, bucket rides, door prizes, and fire safety information. Refreshments will be provided. Crookston Lions and Get Kids Outdoors 45th Annual Youth Golf Tournament

The Crookston Lions and Get Kids Outdoors 45th Annual Youth Golf Tournament will be August 3 and 4   at the Minakwa Golf Course. August 3rd is a Shotgun Start at 8:30 a.m. for 13 to 17-year-olds.  18 years olds may golf if your starting your senior year. 9:00 a.m. start for 9 to 12-year-olds.  August 4 8 and under will start at 9:00 a.m. Entry fee is $20 with lunch included.  Park and Rec golfers or under 8 years old is $10 with lunch included.
