FISHER AREA COMMUNITY FUND ACCEPTING GRANT APPLICATIONS

The Fisher Area Community Fund invites grant applications in support of charitable, educational and public purpose projects that will enhance or improve the quality of life for residents and/or visitors of the Fisher area.

The Fisher Area Community Fund will consider grant applications of $500 to $5,000 with a total amount available for 2020 grants of $7,500.

Grants will be considered from any nonprofit organization or public agency whose project addresses one of the following topics: education, economic development, healthcare, environment and recreation, cultural and community service and benefits the residents of the Fisher area.

Special consideration will be given to a project that collaborates with others, provides a long-term impact and has the ability to use the grant funds by March 2021.

Applications are available at the Fisher City Office or you may call/email Stacy Wallace at (218) 891-2207 or fishcity@rrv.net for a copy to be sent to you. The Fisher City Office is open Monday and Tuesday 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and is located in the Fisher Public School at 313 Park Avenue, Suite 111 in Fisher, MN.

Fisher Area Community Fund grant applications are due by 5:00 p.m. on February 21. Mail or deliver one copy to the Fisher Area Community Fund, PO Box 158, Fisher, MN 56723. Completed applications may also be dropped off at the Fisher City Office, 313 Park Avenue, Suite 111, Fisher, MN 56723. Grants will be awarded in February.
