CROOKSTON CITY COUNCIL TO DISCUSS EPITOME ENERGY MONDAY NIGHT

Crookston City Council

The Crookston City Council will meet Monday night at 7:00 p.m. inside the City Hall Council Chambers.

There will be a Mayoral Proclamation for National Assisted Living Week for September 12-18, 2021.

The consent agenda includes approval of the August 23 meeting minutes and a resolution to approve bills and disbursements in the amount of $348,674.52. The consent agenda will also include approval of the Crookston Housing and Economic Development Authority agenda for their regular meeting on September 21, 2021.

The regular agenda will feature three items and include a resolution accepting Park and Recreation donations for park benches and two resolutions for Epitome Energy LLC. The first Epitome Energy resolution will be to approve the amended letter of intent, and the second to approve the amended and revised land option agreement.

There will also be a Ways and Means Committee meeting held following the adjournment of the City Council meeting.

The Ways and Means agenda will feature a proposal from Megan Pederson as she showcases communication technology that can support the community and six city department budgets that will be reviewed. There will also be a preliminary levy discussion for the city’s 2022 budget.

The six department budgets that will be reviewed are as follows.

  • Police Budget
  • Fire/Emergency Management Budget
  • Community Development Budget
  • Valley Technology Park Budget
  • Professional Fee and Auditing Budgets
  • Legal Budget
