The Crookston Pirates had two doubles pairs qualify for the Minnesota State Individual Tournament and after the first day, they are down to one pair, Senior Emma Osborn and Sophomore Emma Gunderson who will play in the consolation semi-final this morning at the Reed-Sweatt Family Tennis Center.
The Crookston pair lost to Caroline Daly/Erin Witter Rochester Lourdes in a consolation semi-final this morning 6-1, 6-2, and were eliminated.
Yesterday, Osborn and Gunderson, lost their first match lost to a pair from Rochester Lourdes and they beat a pair from Benson.
Also yesterday, the other Pirate doubles pair of Hayden Winjum and Halle Winjum won their first match and lost their second, and were eliminated.
