The Crookston High School Leo Club seniors held its Annual Senior Brunch event this morning from 8:30 to 9:15 a.m. in the High School Commons.
Senior citizens were invited to come to the High School, where they were picked up by senior students driving burrowed golf carts from the Minakwa Country Club and brought to the school. Once inside, they were seated and treated to a buffet of fruit, bagels, muffins, banana bread, juice, and coffee with Leo Club senior students waiting on them and refilling drinks. After a 45-minute breakfast, the seniors were invited to go to the auditorium to see the Crookston High School Drama Club perform their musical, “Godspell,” directed by Beth Carlson.
Over 90 senior citizens attended the event to enjoy breakfast and the performance, with Leo Club Advisor and Drama Club Director Beth Carlson being overjoyed with the turnout and the chance to perform for the senior citizens.
Pictures of the event and the performance can be seen below.
