UMC SOFTBALL’S DANA ZARN NAMED ALL-CONFERENCE

University of Minnesota Crookston Golden Eagle Softball’s Dana Zarn (Jr., Winnipeg, Manitoba) has been named to the Northern Sun Conference All-Conference second team. 

Zarn was third on the team with a .298 batting average, hits (36), doubles (11) and was second in RBI (33) and OPS (.920), as well as tied for second with five home runs. Zarn also led the Golden Eagles in assists with 73. 

Katie Crogan of Upper Iowa was named the Player of the Year in the NSIC, while Mackenzie Ward of Minnesota State University, Mankato was named the NSIC Pitcher of the Year. Augustana’s Greta Melsted was named the NSIC Coach of the Year for the fifth time in her career.
