TEACHERS FROM THE LOFT LITERARY CENTER WILL HOST A SERIES OF VIRTUAL WRITING WORKSHOPS FOR LAKE AGASSIZ LIBRARIES

Lake Agassiz Regional Library (LARL) will host a series of virtual writing workshops hosted by teachers from the Loft Literary Center. The workshops will be offered free of charge with no registration required and will focus on the following topics: 

  • The ABCs of Writing Children’s Books on Tuesday, September 13, from 7:00-8:30 p.m., featuring teacher and author Lisa Bolt Simmons.
  • Be Your Own Publisher on Tuesday, October 4, from 7:00-8:30 p.m., featuring teacher and author Brooke Dierkhising.
  • Creative Writing Sampler on Tuesday, October 25, from 7:00-8:30 p.m. featuring teacher and writer Gail Milstein.
  • Turning Family Stories into a Memoir on Tuesday, November 15, from 7:00-8:30 p.m., featuring Gail Milstein.

The series will be available at larl.org/writingworkshops and is made possible in part thanks to funding from the Minnesota Arts & Cultural Heritage Fund.
