Arrest/Fire Report – Thursday, February 28, 2019

The Northwest Regional Corrections Center announced the arrests of the following individuals:

Shiloh Anne Swenson, 47 of Grand Forks, ND, for felony fugitive from another state.

Fire Calls –

At approximately 12:37 p.m. Wednesday, February 27, the Grand Forks Fire Department responded to 750 South 43^rd Street for a vehicle fire that was near a structure.

First arriving fire engine crews found a 2000 Buick Regal with smoke and a small amount of fire in the engine compartment.  No structures were in any danger.  Crews used about 150 gallons of water to extinguish the fire.

Grand Forks Fire Department responded with 3 fire engines and 1 command vehicle.  Once on scene, crews determined that no structures were in danger and 1 engine crew was canceled. Vehicle involved had substantial fire damage in the engine compartment.  Cause of fire is under investigation.  Grand Forks Police Department and Altru Ambulance were also on scene.
