ARREST/FIRE REPORT – MARCH 31, 2023

The Northwest Regional Corrections Center reported the arrest of the following –

Joshua Jess Shear, 44 of McIntosh, for DUI – 1st degree with alcohol concentration of .10 or more within two hours.

Ryan Travis Waechter, 39 or East Grand Forks, for DUI – 1st degree with alcohol concentration of .10 or more within two hours.

Devon J Holmes-Selk, 24 of East Grand Forks, Felon convicted in a crime of violence – firearm violation.

Joshua Richard Bogart, 21 of Grand Forks, for third-degree drug possession – methamphetamine/amphetamine in school, park, or public housing zone.

The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls on 3/30/2023 – 

At 11:18 a.m., the CFD responded to the 100 block of Twin Drive for a report of smoke coming from an electrical outlet. Upon arrival, it was found to be a faulty outlet. The CFD shut off power to the outlet and called maintenance to replace the outlet. The CFD then cleared the scene.

At 7:19 p.m., the CFD responded to the 1700 block of Widman Lane for a report of smoke from the outside of a building. Upon arrival, it was found that Christmas lights were plugged into an outlet and were overheating. The CFD unplugged the lights and there was no danger present. The CFD then cleared the scene.
