CROOKSTON ENTERTAINMENT SERIES TO HOST BILLY MCGUIGAN’S POP ROCK ORCHESTRA FEBRUARY 29

Next on the Crookston Civic Music League’s 2023-2024 Entertainment Series lineup is Billy McGuigan’s Pop Rock Orchestra.  The group will be performing at the Crookston High School Auditorium on Thursday, February 29 at 7 p.m.

Billy McGuigan and his Pop Rock orchestra present a high-energy concoction of rock ‘n’ roll mega hits in a unique, live concert experience.  His musical influences left an incredible impact on the type of entertainer Billy was to become.  Think of 1970s jumpsuit Elvis, the Moody Blues who put symphonic interludes in the middle of a rock song, Electric Light Orchestra (ELO) with an electric horn and string section–rock & roll was transformed!  As Billy navigates the audience through decades of classic gems, he does so backed by a rock orchestra that can match his energy in force.

For ticket and membership information in the Crookston Civic Music League, call Elaine Metzger at 218-281-2681, Emily Luckow at 218-281-5907, or Alvern Wentzel at 218-281-7873.   Admission is by season ticket only. Season tickets can be purchased at the door before the concert Thursday, February 29 at 7 p.m.

For transportation, call THE BUS 281-0700.
