Crookston City Council to meet on Monday evening

The Crookston City Council will meet on Monday at 5:30 p.m. at the Crookston City Hall Council Chambers.

The meeting will start with a proclamation about Maroon and Gold Week and a presentation about the water and wastewater utility rate study for the City of Crookston. 

The consent agenda includes approving the proposed minutes from the September 9 meeting and the special meeting minutes on September 16. It also includes the approval of bills and disbursements of $640,575.68 and the acceptance of a donation of $12,676.65 from the Crookston Baseball Association. The agenda also includes the partial payment Estimate number three and final for the 2024 Street Improvements. 

There will be two public hearings, one for public comment on the Housing Trust Fund ordinance and the other for public comment on amending the City of Crookston City Code 30.02 B and C.

The regular agenda includes a resolution regarding purchasing a fire response vehicle for the Crookston Fire Department with reserve funds and a resolution appointing Matthew Bussinger as the City of Crookston’s information technology director. 

Immediately after the council meeting, they council will have a budget discussion.
