FIRST PERIOD
It was all Golden Eagles from the start, as Logan Syrup scored just 11 seconds into the game. Those shots were two of 21 taken by UMC, who only saw 6 shots on the defensive end in the 1st.

SECOND PERIOD

The offensive explosion from UMC carried over to the next period, as Fox Dodds was able to find the net with 15:45 to go. Moments later, Jackson Fuller made the score 4-0 for UMC off a feed from Alexander Bailey. Aiden Morelli added a goal with 6:19 left in the period to extend the lead to 5. North Dakota was once again limited offensively, but they were able to keep the Golden Eagles from scoring any more in the period.
