TWO INJURED IN THREE VEHICLE ACCIDENT IN GRAND FORKS

Officers of the Grand Forks Police Department responded to the 200 blk. of Gateway Dr. for an injury accident involving 3 vehicles.  The striking vehicle (White Chevrolet passenger car) driven by Gayle Stordahl (77) of EGF, MN was eastbound of Gateway drive when she swerved to miss a slowing vehicle.  Stordahl’s vehicle swerved into the oncoming westbound traffic striking vehicle #2 (GreyLincoln) driven by Margaret Sondreal (91) of EGF. Stordahl then continues on and struck vehicle #3 (Red Honda SUV) driven by Jeanette Kohns (83) of EGF with a passenger Don Kohns (85) of EGF.  Stordahl and Kohns were transported to Altru by ambulance for undetermined injuries.  Stordahl was cited for care required. All occupants were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash. 

Anyone with information regarding this crash please contact the Police Dept. at 701-787-8000.  This crash is still under investigation. Altru and the Grand Forks Fire Department also responded and assisted on the scene.
