The Northwest Regional Corrections Center reported the arrest of the following

Sheldon Ryan Black, 18, of Fort Totten, ND, for 3rd Degree Assault

Mindy Lynn Kloos, 34, of East Grand Forks, for DUI

Kelly Beth Amundgaard, 52, of Thief River Falls, for 3rd Degree Drug Possession

Duane John Baker, 45, of Glenwood, for Domestic Assault

Robbie Anne Nobles, 53, of Crookston, for DUI

The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls between 2/14/25 and 2/16/25:

On Saturday, 2/15 at 11:38 a.m., CFD responded to the 400 block of Woodland Ave. for an alarm activation. Crews determined burnt food on the stove set off the alarm. CFD cleared the alarm and area, ensured site safety and cleared the scene.

On Saturday, 2/15 at 7:52 p.m., CFD responded to Hwy 102 after reports of a truck on the side of road that was on fire. All units went to the scene, but the truck was unable to be found by CFD or the police department.

On Saturday, 2/15 at 9:48 p.m., CFD responded to the 1400 block of North Front St. for person trapped in upside down SUV. It was determined to be a single vehicle rollover. Crews extracted the victim, who was then evaluated by EMS. Crews then cleaned up and cleared the scene.
