Carol L. (Blau) Reuer- OBIT

Carol L. (Blau) Reuer, 81, Ada, MN, passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2025 at Benedictine Care Community in Ada. She had been a resident there since the death of her husband, Clarence.

Carol was the daughter of August and Anna (Sittko) Blau. Carol graduated from Ada High School and earned a degree from the Mankato State University.
She enjoyed traveling with family and friends. Several summers she worked as a cook at a youth camp in Boothbay, Maine. Carol taught Home Economics in Perham, MN. It was while teaching at Perham High School that she met Clarence, while he was also teaching there. Carol later worked at a Greenhouse/Nursery and at a chocolate candy company in Perham. She loved to garden, do crafts and was an accomplished baker.

Clarence and Carol purchased Carol’s home farm near Ada and moved there from their lake home. Carol was a kind, gentle and thoughtful person, loved by many families, friends and students. She had a strong faith in the Lord. We did not lose her for we know she is at peace in heaven with her Lord and Savior. May God Bless her memory.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, August and Anna; husband, Clarence; and sisters, Agnes Corcoran, and Renea Stimach. She is survived by her son, Caleb, Minneapolis, MN; sister, Harriet Brueshoff, Ada, MN; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Memorial Gathering: 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Fredrikson-Ganje Funeral Home, Ada, MN.

Visitation: One hour before the gathering at the funeral home.

Inurnment: Ada City Columbarium, Ada, MN.
