The Northwest Regional Corrections Center reported the arrest of the following–
Teejay Ignacio Alvarez, 30, of Fosston, for Emergency Telephone calls/interfering with a 911 call
David Ernest Ranta, 46, of Crookston, for Making an emergency call to Police/Fire/Medical/Ambulance with No Emergency
Teneille Marie Torgerson, 48, of Gully for 2nd Degree Assault with a Dangerous Weapon
Joshua Zeni Sotzsky, 41, of Mentor, for 4th Degree Driving While Impaired
Crookston Fire Calls
The Fire Department was called out yesterday at 2:22 p.m. to a yard west of the Highway 75 Bypass for reports of black smoke. They discovered a large brush pile fire, which was a non-sanctioned controlled burn. The Chief explained burn permit requirements, and then the FD cleared the scene.
