The Crookston Veterans’ Day Service was held last week at the Golden Link Senior Center in downtown Crookston.
Program presenters were Dennis Boucher (DAV), Jean LaJesse (DAV Auxiliary), Paul Dubuque (American Legion), Sharon Lanctot (American Legion Auxiliary), Frank Lindgren (VFW), Jamie Cassavant (VFW Auxiliary), Laurie Anderson and Michelle Christopherson (Beyond the Yellow Ribbon), and Mercedes Aceves and Halle Nicholas (All-Stater), Jennika Reese (Chaplin).
Bill and Jamie Cassavant did the Missing Man Table; George French provided music, the photographer was Linda Swenson (see pictures below), John Vik provided tech support, and Margee Keller was in charge of public relations.
Lunch was served by the Golden Link with funds provided by the United Way of Crookston and served by Auxiliary members.
