The National Weather Service in Grand Forks, North Dakota has issued a Winter Weather Adivosry until 6:00 a.m. Friday, December 26 for portions of norrthwest, north central, east central, west central and central Minnesota along with eastern North Dakota.
As of 8:00 p.m. in Crookston, the roads and sidewalks were glazed with ice and causing slippery and dangerous driving conditions.

* WHAT…Freezing rain. Additional ice accumulations up to 5 hundredths of an inch.
* WHERE…Portions of central, north central, northwest, and west central Minnesota and northeast and southeast North Dakota.

* IMPACTS…Very slippery sidewalks, roads and bridges are possible.
