The Northwest Regional Corrections Center in Crookston reported the arrest of the following –
Joshua Joseph Grubich, 35 of Ada, for misdemeanor domestic assault

Fire Report
On Saturday, January 17th, at 4:30 p.m., the Crookston fire department responded to a report of a hot smell from the 400th block of South Ash Street. On scene, they found only two faulty smoke detectors, so they conducted a quick smoke survey before clearing the scene.
On Sunday, January 18th, at 11:30 a.m., the Crookston fire department responded to a general fire alarm activation from the 900th block of Pirate Drive. On scene, they found it was caused by burnt food; they reset the alarm before they cleared the scene.
On Monday, January 19th, at 3:00 a.m., the Crookston fire department responded to a report of smoke in an apartment on the 100th block of Sargeant Street. On scene, they found that the smoke was actually steam from a leaky baseboard. They isolated the residence and notified the landlord, who would notify maintenance.
