Public Works Street Department is planning to conduct downtown snow removal starting Thursday night (January 29th) at 11:00 PM and working through 7:00 AM Friday morning.
Our goal is to complete all of downtown in one pass, which will require all vehicles to be off the streets, including 2nd Street, so crews can effectively clean the area without having to work around parked cars. Please refrain from parking your vehicle on downtown streets during this time
We ask downtown business owners and residents to please assist by pushing sidewalk snow as close to the curb as possible, which will greatly help crews remove snow efficiently during the overnight operation.
