Calling all Trainers! It’s been 30 years since Pokémon first began, and the Crookston Public Library is celebrating in style. Whether you’re a long-time collector or just starting your journey, come hang out with fellow fans for an afternoon of all things Pokémon. The program is scheduled for Friday, February 27, from 3:30 – 5:30 p.m. at the Crookston Public Library.
Activities include:
- The Trading Post: Bring your card binder to trade and show off your collection.
- The Poké-Lab: Craft your own Pikachu or Eevee headbands and design a functional Pokéball that actually opens!
- The Training Zone: Relax with themed coloring pages and word searches.
Plus, fuel up for your next battle with Pokémon-themed fruit snacks (available while supplies last). This program is geared for youth ages 10 and up.
The library has several events scheduled this week, including Winter Olympics-themed Library Learning Labs for youth on February 23 at 6 p.m. and February 24 at 10:30 a.m., an event held in partnership with the ECFE celebrating the Young Child through art on Tuesday, February 24 at 6 p.m. and more. A full list of events can be found at larl.org/events.
