Jacqueline “Jackie” Carole Zammert- OBIT

Jacqueline “Jackie” Carole Zammert, 62, of Crookston, Minnesota, passed away on Thursday February 12, 2026. Jackie was born on January 27, 1964 in Crookston, MN to Robert Zammert and Carole (Peck) Zammert. She attended Central High School in Crookston and graduated with the Class of 1982. After high school, Jackie began working for Farm Service Agency, where she would work for over 40 years!

Jackie was a social person who loved meeting and talking with people. Jackie never met a stranger as she would strike up a conversation with anyone she met. She loved spending time with her family and visiting with friends. While she never wanted to be the center of attention, she loved being involved in everything.

Jackie loved playing darts, loved fishing, shopping, and attending craft fairs. She also enjoyed baking and cooking, planting flowers and tending to her garden. Jackie was able to use her talents in the garden and the kitchen to help her mom around her house. Jackie enjoyed making weekend trips to Fargo to spend time with her son.

Traveling was a passion that Jackie enjoyed. Whether she was traveling to far away places like Las Vegas, Hawaii, Dominican Republic, Cancun, or just taking a short trip to Duluth, Jackie loved traveling with her family.

Jackie is survived by her mother, Carole Zammert; son, Daniel (Tiffany) Fluge of West Fargo; partner, John Lentsch of Crookston; brother, Anthony (Sara) Zammert of Grand Forks; aunt, Mickie (Gary) Rustad of Gold Canyon, AZ; uncle, Bob (Susan) Peck of Carver, MN; niece and nephews, Morgan, Alex, and Max; along with numerous cousins.

She is preceded in death by her father, Robert Zammert; brothers, Bryan Zammert and Robert “Bobby” Zammert; and her grandparents.

Jackie’s family will remember and celebrate her life with a funeral mass on Friday February 27, 2026 at The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception beginning at 2:00 pm with Monsignor David Baumgartner presiding. Her family will receive friends during the visitation beginning at 1:00 pm on Friday February 27.
