The Crookston High School Speech team competed in the 21st Annual Lumberjack Invitational on Saturday in Bemidji.
Zac Plante finished in second place in Creative Expression and honors second place in humorous interpretation.
Lily Olmstead finished in third place in storytelling, and Hamsini Chanda placed sixth in original oratory.
Also competing for the Pirates were Nashelle Tellez, John Lisov, and Hillary Weber.
