On Thursday, March 5th, at 10:30 a.m., the Crookston fire department responded to the 200th block of Broadway for a general fire alarm activation. On scene, they couldn’t find any clear causes for the alarm, so they turned it over to the staff after resetting the panel.
On Thursday, March 5th, at 3:30 p.m., the Crookston fire department responded to the 300th block of 5th Ave South for a call about a smoky smell in the garage. On scene, they found no clear signs of smoke, so they performed a smoke survey before clearing the scene.
On Thursday, March 5th, at 7:58 p.m., the Crookston fire department responded to a smoke detector activation from Fanny Township. On scene, they found it had been caused by burnt food. They ventilated the residence before clearing the scene.
