The Crookston sixth-grade girls’ basketball team finished fourth place at the East Grand Forks Border Battle tournament last weekend.
Crookston beat the Legends 40-18. They lost to Bemidji 36-14 and lost to Thief River Falls in the third-place game 36-17.
Members of the team are Keira Gudmundson, Marie Prudhomme, Zaelyn Normandin, Emma Newquist, Isabelle Beckman, Kaitlynn Klawitter, Zia Normandin, Lily Griffin, and Annie Kollin. Coaches are Kaylie Normandin and Delon Blackman.
The girls will compete in the Crookston Youth Basketball Association tournament this weekend, with around 100 teams expected.
