Fire Calls:
At 1:09 p.m. Tuesday, the Crookston Fire Department was called to the Castle Dog Park for a possible natural gas leak. The caller reported a strong rotten-egg smell; however, the investigation found no dangerous levels of fumes. The incident was turned over to the wastewater department.
The Northwest Regional Corrections staff reported the arrest of the following –
John Andrew Loren Kilde, 37 of McIntosh, for obstructing the legal process – interfering with a Peace Officer.
Joseph Oscar MacPhee, 33 of Crookston, for Domestic assault, attempting to inflict bodily harm
Joshua John Wayne Young, 25 of St. Cloud, for failure to appear
Richard John Peck II, 33 of Fertile, for obstructing the legal process
Connie Kay Haugen, 49 of East Grand Forks, for 3rd-degree drug possession of a scheduled 1 or 2 narcotic, LSD, MDA, or MDMA in a school, park, public housing zone
Glenn Merle Fontaine, 57 of East Grand Forks, for 3rd Degree drug possession, Scheduled 1 or 2 narcotics, LSD, MDA or MDMA in a school, park or public housing zone.
