The City of Crookston announced today that they have been closely monitoring the weather forecast for the first Wednesday on the Water event of the year, scheduled for June 10, and unfortunately, thunderstorms are expected. For the safety and enjoyment of all participants, they made the decision to push this event back one week to Wednesday, June 17.
While many community members were looking forward to getting out on the water this week and may be disappointed by the delay, the decision to postpone and reschedule the event was made to ensure everyone remains safe and has the best possible experience on the river.
Anyone who has already reserved a canoe or kayak, your reservation will automatically carry over to the new date of June 17. No action is needed on your part, and rentals are still available. Anyone with questions about this rescheduled event can contact Keenan Devier at 218-650-0669.
