The Minnesota Chamber of Commerce Leadership Fund PAC announced today its endorsement of Steve Gander for the Minnesota House District 1B in the upcoming November 3 general election.
“Representative Steve Gander understands what it takes to strengthen Minnesota’s economy and create an environment where businesses and communities can thrive,” said Laura Bordelon, Treasurer of the Minnesota Chamber Leadership Fund PAC. “This endorsement reflects his commitment to supporting policies that help Minnesota employers grow, create jobs and strengthen our state’s economic competitiveness.”
The Leadership Fund PAC Board evaluates candidates using a consistent set of criteria, including responses to the PAC’s candidate questionnaire, leadership on key business issues, and, for incumbent candidates, their legislative voting record.
In announcing its endorsement, the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce Leadership Fund stated that Representative Gander is committed to building and improving Minnesota's economy by creating a climate that encourages growth and innovation. The organization also expressed confidence that Gander is a pro- business leader who shares the business community’s vision of economic vitality and a flourishing workforce—now and into the future.
