The Crookston City Council will meet on Tuesday, September 8, at 5:30 p.m. in the council chambers at City Hall. The meeting date was moved due to the observance of the Labor Day holiday.
The consent agenda includes a resolution approving the August 17 meeting minutes, approval of monthly bills and disbursements in the amount of $575,554.62, and a resolution authorizing a satisfaction of mortgage for Northern Properties, LLC.
The main agenda includes a resolution regarding approval of the well 5 and 6 firewall upgrade for the water department, a resolution regarding approval of CloudSCADA remote monitoring and alarm notification system upgrades for the water department, a resolution approving 2026 Water Department pavement repairs following water system breaks and repairs, and a resolution approving the updated AFSCME collective bargaining agreement for the years 2026-2028.
Immediately following the City Council meeting, the Ways and Means Committee will meet in the council chambers. They will have a follow-up discussion on the city’s comprehensive plan and review the 2027 preliminary budgets for the parks and recreation and public works departments.
