Drew Peterson was recognized by his peers for exemplary service as a Certified Nursing Assistant this past October and presented with his certificate of outstanding achievement by Director of Nursing LaVonne Merten and Executive Director Lindsey Erdman.
Drew serves in the Garden View Memory Care and is repeatedly called out for his exceptionally cheerful presence, willingness to help others and highly skilled caregiving expertise.
When asked, Drew said he became a CNA after seeing the difference the nurse aides made while they cared for his great-grandma Faye in the nursing home years back. “I loved how they put her first and made sure to be there whenever she needed them.” Drew added that he tries his best to be kind and put others first. “I would do anything for my residents. I want to bring positivity into work when I step in the doors.”
By the many nominations submitted on Drew’s behalf for the very first “Associate of the Month”, it was clear he makes that difference time and again!
When Drew isn’t working and studying to be a Radiology Technician, he enjoys being a parent to their 8-month-old daughter, Saylor Faye, with Reagan Sargent, and playing video games with his friends.
