Polk County youth leaders are making their voices heard!
Students from Polk County’s Youth Advisory Board came together with youth from Norman and Mahnomen counties last week for the 2nd Annual Youth Leadership Summit, where they built leadership skills, connected with peers, and explored substance use prevention and positive change in their communities.
Two of these incredible youth leaders also participated in a panel discussion at the Northwest Minnesota Council of Collaboratives meeting, sharing their perspectives on the impacts of sleep and social media use on youth well-being.
Polk County Public Health is proud to see young people stepping up, sharing their experiences, and helping shape healthier, stronger communities! The Polk County Youth Advisory Board is comprised of Crookston, East Grand Forks, Fertile-Beltrami, Fisher, Sacred Heart, Fosston, Win-E-Mac, and Climax-Shelly High School students.
