The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Watch for portions of northwest, north central, and west-central Minnesota and eastern North Dakota until 11:00 p.m. tonight (Friday, July 24).
It includes 14 Minnesota counties – Beltrami, Lake of the Woods, Hubbard, Becker, Clearwater, Kittson, Mahnomen, Marshall, Norman, Pennington, Polk, Red Lake, Roseau, and Clay counties.
It also includes 6 North Dakota counties – Grand Forks, Pembina, Walsh, Cass, Steele, and Trail.
The watch includes the following cities, Ada, Argyle, Bagley, Baudette, Bemidji, Casperson, Cavalier, Clearbrook, Crookston, Dakota Junction, Detroit Lakes, Drayton, East Grand Forks, Emmaville, Englund, Faith, Fargo, Finley, Flaming, Florian, Fox, Grafton, Grand Forks, Hadler, Hallock, Halstad, Hatton, Hayes Lake State Park, Hillsboro, Hope, Hubbard, Karlstad, Kelso, Lavina, Long Lost Lake, Lower Rice Lake, Mahnomen, Malung, Moorhead, Nary, Nash, Naytahwash, Neche, Oakwood, Park Rapids, Park River, Pembina, Pencer, Portland, Radium, Red Lake Falls, Rosby, Roseau, Roseville, Roy Lake, Salol, Shoreham, St. Thomas, Stephen, Syre, Thief River Falls, Twin Valley, Two Inlets, Walhalla, Warren, Waubun, and Zerkel.
