The Northwest Regional Correction Center reported the arrest of the following-
Jason Craig Jennsen, 54, of Crookston, for first-degree damage to property, reducing the property value by over $1,000.
Bryce Anthony Moore, 27, of Grand Forks, for being a fugitive of justice from another state.
Melissa Ann Vargas, 39, of East Grand Forks, for third-degree DUI.
The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls over the weekend –
4/6/2024
At 9:58 a.m., the CFD responded to the 100 block of Sargent St. for a report of an alarm activation. Upon arrival, it was found that cooking had caused the alarm to activate. The CFD ventilated the room of any lingering smoke. There was no danger present. The CFD reset the alarm and cleared the scene.
4/7/2024
At 4:00 p.m., the CFD responded to North Acres Estates for a lift assist. Upon arrival, the CFD assisted local EMS and was able to get the patient to the ambulance. The CFD then cleared the scene.
At 5:40 p.m., the CFD responded to the 100 block of Sargent St. for a report of an alarm activation. Upon arrival, it was found that cooking had caused the alarm to activate. There was no danger present. The CFD ventilated the room, reset the alarm, and cleared the scene.
