The Northwest Regional Corrections Center reported the following arrests.
Jason Daniel Jarvis, 51, of Erskine, for Contempt of Court
Dulce Maria Peterson, 20, of Hermantown, for 5th-Degree Assault
Alexandro Vargas, 31, of Crookston, for Driving after Driver’s License Revocation
Arleigh Wayne John Vilas, 39, of Mahnomen, for 1st-Degree Burglary
Jacoby Hutchinson, 40, of Warroad, for Disorderly Conduct
The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls over the weekend –
12/17/2022
At 12:00 p.m., the CFD responded to the intersection of Hwy 75 and 260th St SW for a report of a two-vehicle accident. Upon arrival, the CFD assisted the Crookston Police Department with traffic control. The CFD then cleared the scene.
At 1:10 p.m., the CFD responded to the intersection of Barrette St and Fisher Ave for a report of a two-vehicle accident. Upon arrival, the CFD assisted the Crookston Police Department with traffic control and road cleanup. The CFD then cleared the scene.

At 1:55 p.m., the CFD responded to the 100 block of Twin Drive for a Carbon Monoxide detector activation. Upon arrival, the CFD determined it was an end-of-life signal, and there was no danger present. The homeowners replaced the detector, and the CFD cleared the scene.
