The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls over the weekend –
3/17/2023
At 1:45 p.m., the CFD responded to the intersection of US Hwy 2 and 190th Ave SW for a report of a one-vehicle accident. Upon arrival, it was found that a semi-truck had jackknifed and was leaking diesel fuel. The CFD assisted with road cleanup. There were no injuries to report. The CFD then cleared the scene.
3/18/2023
At 8:23 p.m., the CFD responded to the 100 block of Sargent St. for a report of a fire alarm activation. Upon arrival, it was found that cooking was the cause of the alarm. There was no danger present. The CFD reset the alarm and cleared the scene.
