ARREST/FIRE REPORT – MAY 27, 2024

The Northwest Regional Corrections Center reported the arrest of the following –

Nathail James Sherman, 27 of Brooklyn Center, for third-degree DUI with one aggravating factor.

Justin Robert Jahn, 50 of Plains Montana, for terroristic threats, disregard risk.

Tad Isaac Butcher, 40 no address provided, for first-degree burglary with a dangerous weapon/explosive

Lanika Mashay Harris, 44 of Crookston, for use of false name /Date of Birth to identify self to police.

Joseph Eugene Johnson Jr.,
53 of Crookston, for domestic abuse, violating order of protection.

Jordan Noah Very,
24, of Twin Valley, for domestic abuse, violating a no-contact order.

Ricky Allen Karee, 38 of Walhalla ND, for third degree drug possesion of a schedule 1 or 2 narcotic in a school/park/public housing zone.

Dale Allen Thornton, 67 of Twin Valley, for fleeing a peace officer in a motor vehicle.

Melissa Jo Knott, 47 of Crookston, for third degree DUI with one aggravating factor.

Calvin Lawrence Kingbird, 72 of Red Lake, for driving after cancellation

David James White, 49 of Red Lake, for failure to appear after being charge/convicted of a felony.

Cha Micheal Delude, 46 of Crookston, for fifth degree drug posession, not small amount of marijuana

The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls over the weekend –

5/25/2024

At 4:35 p.m., the CFD responded to the 200 block of S Main for a detector sounding. Upon arrival, it was found to be a low battery. There was no danger present. The CFD assisted the tenant with replacing the batteries, as well as installing a new detector. The CFD then cleared the scene.

At 9:00 p.m., the CFD responded to the 100 block of Sargent St. for an alarm activation. Upon arrival, it was found that cooking had caused the alarm to activate. There was no danger present. The CFD ventilated the residence, reset the alarm, and then cleared the scene.

At 9:00 p.m., the CFD responded to the 2900 block of University Ave for an alarm activation. Upon arrival, it was found to be a false alarm activation. There was no danger present. The CFD reset the alarm panel, turned over control to staff, and cleared the scene.
