The Northwest Regional Corrections Center in Crookston reported the following arrests.
Kelsey Graham Schultz, 44, of Fosston, for Domestic Assault
Arleigh Wayne John Vilas, 38, Mahnomen, for 3rd-Degree Assault
The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls –
At 1:00 p.m., the CFD responded to the 500 block of Elm St for a report of a smoke alarm activation. Upon arrival, there was no danger present. The CFD checked all the detectors in the house, and the homeowner replaced one detector. The CFD then cleared the scene.
At 4:30 p.m., the CFD responded to the 400 block of Russell St. for a report of a gas smell in a home. Upon arrival, the CFD used gas monitoring tools, and it was found that the source of the smell was a snowblower in the garage. There was no danger present. The CFD aired out the garage and cleared the scene.
