Starting Monday, July 8, 2024, S. Washington St. will be closed at the Southend drain way just south of 47th Ave. S. Crews will be installing a new box culvert at the drainway. Detour signs will be posted. The closure will be in place until mid-August, weather permitting.

One of the 2024 Minnesota Wrestling Coaches Association David Bartelma Wrestling Hall of Fame Induction ceremonies will be held in Crookston on Sunday, July 7, at the Crookston Inn and Convention Center. Two area wrestling pioneers, Ardell Knudsvig and Gary Brantl, will be honored during the ceremony. The ceremony will be held from 1:00-3:00 p.m.
