PIRATE SOFTBALL FALLS TO ROSEAU IN SECTION TOURNEY 1ST ROUND

The Crookston Pirate Softball team only mustered one hit as the Roseau Rams cruised to a 15-0 victory in four innings in the first round of the Section 8AA Softball tournament.  FIRST INNING Crookston was retired in 1-2-3 fashion as Roseau’s Brooklyn Hulst came out firing strikes. She retired the three batters on five pitches.

CHS STUDENTS ATTEND FIELD TRIP TO THREE REGIONAL BUSINESSES

On Wednesday, May 15, Crookston High School students visited three regional companies: Mattracks, Waterworth Cabinets, and Nordic Fiberglass. They also had lunch at the Viking Diner.  The first stop was Mattracks in Karlstad, MN. This company makes customized tracks for all sorts of vehicles. Some of the biggest industries are agriculture, recreation, and the military.
