Members of the Crookston Middle School Choir participated in the Annual UMC Junior High Festival on Wednesday, May 8. Other school choirs that participated alongside Crookston included Ada-Borup-West, East Grand Forks, Mahnomen, Red Lake Falls, and Win-E- Mac.
The Crookston Pirate Softball team gave up seven runs in the second inning, and that was the difference as the Barnesville Trojans won 9-4 in a Section 8AA matchup in Barnesville. James Olson, age 52, of Minneapolis, MN, died Wednesday, March 20, 2024. A memorial service will be held at Wild Rice Lutheran Church, rural Twin Valley, MN on May 11, 2024, at 11:00 am.
