The Crookston Ox Cart Days Festival has made the decision to move the Johnny Holmes Band/dance to the Crookston Sports Center tonight (Saturday) because of the forecast of rain for tonight. The Miss Tootsie Pageant was held Friday night at the Crookston Eagles with an “80s” theme. 2018 Miss Tootsie, Tequila Rose (Bernie Ibarra), crowned the new 2019 Miss Tootsie Biscuits and Gravy (Tyler Brekken), and winner of the On-Stage Question, Evening Gown, and People’s Choice. The first runner-up was Miss Michelle Ringo Starr (Mick Butenhoff).
The Miss Crookston Scholarship Pageant was held Friday night at the Crookston High School auditorium with the theme, “Rock and Roll” – Celebrating 29 years of spectacular women. 2018 Miss Crookston, Thea Oman, crowned the new 2019 Miss Crookston Sophia Steiner, and winner of the On-Stage Presence and co-winner of the Personal Interview competition; and
