JOHNNY HOLMES MOVED TO THE ARENA – PARADE/FIREWORKS MOVED TO SUNDAY

MANY OX CART DAYS EVENTS STILL GOING AS PLANNED DESPITE RAIN SHOWERS

Ox Cart Days got an early start on Saturday with the Little Tykes Run, 5K, and 10K.  Riding a cart drawn by the oxen Biscuit and Gravy, and the Car Show in Central Park among the activities that kicked off the day.  And Dan Erdman won the Happy Joe’s Pizza Eating Contest.   RESULTS FROM 5K/10K

MISS BISCUITS & GRAVY (TYLER BREKKEN) CROWNED MISS TOOTSIE 2019

The Miss Tootsie Pageant was held Friday night at the Crookston Eagles with an “80s” theme. 2018 Miss Tootsie, Tequila Rose (Bernie Ibarra), crowned the new 2019 Miss Tootsie Biscuits and Gravy (Tyler Brekken), and winner of the On-Stage Question, Evening Gown, and People’s Choice. The first runner-up was Miss Michelle Ringo Starr (Mick Butenhoff).
