Fire calls: At 11:37 Thursday morning, the Crookston Fire Department responded to a call for a rubber melter on fire in Section 27 of Crookston Township. They extinguished the fire and cooled it down, then turned it over to the work crew.
CROOKSTON YOUTH FIND FISHING SUCCESS FROM SHORE OF MAPLE LAKE
Crookston youths Jack Everette, Michael Deng along with Isaac and Simon Geffre had success Tuesday fishing from the shore on Maple Lake. Their catch included a 25-in northern, walleye, bass, crappie and sunfish.
BOARD OF REGENTS PASSES TUITION INCREASES ON ALL UNIVERSITY OF MINNESOTA CAMPUSES
The University of Minnesota Board of Regents voted Wednesday to increase tuition on campuses.
