Released on personal recognizance. Roland Edward Vanderplaats, 71 of Bejeu, for felony terroristic threats causing or attempting to cause terror.

The Polk County Commissioners have approved fee increases to the licensing fees for childcare and corporate foster care. On Wednesday, February 20 at approximately 12:45 p.m. members of the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, Pine to Prairie Violent Crime Enforcement team and the Mahnomen County Sheriff’s Office apprehended Roland Edward Vanderplaats (Born July 7, 1947) in Mahnomen. Vanderplaats was transported to the Northwest Regional Correctional Center and booked in on Terroristic Threats and Reckless discharge
