The Crookston Middle School Music Department will present a Spring Concert on Monday, May 20, at 7:00 p.m. in the CHS Auditorium. The concert will feature the grand bands from grades 5-8 and choirs and orchestras from grades 6-8. This middle school students have two chances each year to perform a concert as a group;
Summer Driver Education registration is now open. Registration forms are due back to Crookston High School by Friday, May 31. There are two sessions to choose from (7-10 am or 2-5 pm). The cost is $325, and the fee must be paid by May 31, 2024. Summer classes run from June 3 to June 18,
Members of the Crookston Middle School Choir participated in the Annual UMC Junior High Festival on Wednesday, May 8. Other school choirs that participated alongside Crookston included Ada-Borup-West, East Grand Forks, Mahnomen, Red Lake Falls, and Win-E- Mac.
The Northwest Regional Correction Center reported the arrest of the following- Joshua Edward Hagl, 27, of Mentor, for second-degree DUI, impaired with two or more aggravating factors. Kiesha Storm Lytle, 31, of Grand Forks, for third-degree drug possession.
