Crookston City Crews to start downtown snow removal tonight

Downtown snow removal will take place in Crookston on all North/South and East/West streets beginning at 11:00 p.m. tonight March 25.Snow removal will take place barring unforeseen heavy snowfall or other emergency. Vehicles parked on Main and Broadway may be towed if not moved.

Crookston Middle School Knowledge Bowl finishes 2nd and 5th in Hallock

Crookston Pirate Speech hosts a succesful meet

Crookston High School hosted a speech meet on Saturday with 13 teams competing. “Take a Trip on Us” contest winner is Judy Miller of Goodridge

KROX and Bergan Travel sponsored a “Take a Trip on Us” contest.  When people shopped at twenty-three participating businesses, they entered their name in the drawing. KROX called each one of the participating businesses, and that business drew one name from their box. That person then qualified for the final drawing held after the noon

Fourth Grade Orchestra held its first concert at Highland on Tuesday

On Tuesday, February 18th, the 4th Grade Orchestra had its first concert at Highland. It was an “Informance”, an informal and informational performance. Students played their first songs for their families and took their first bows with their instruments on stage, and Ms. Carlson talked a little bit about what they will be learning next
