On Wednesday, April 20, the CHS Concert Orchestra traveled to Brainerd to compete in Region 8AA Orchestra Solo and Ensemble Contest. Students performed two of their spring concert selections and received a Superior rating for their large group performance.
Fifteen of Crookston’s students also performed in solos and small ensembles and received the following ratings:

Excellent:
George French – cello solo
Thor Harbott – viola solo

Isaac Thomforde, Brekken Tull, Halle Bruggeman – cello trio
Good:
Ava Lopez, Emma Osborn – violin/viola duet
Maddie Harbott, Naomi Johnson – bass duet
