The Crookston Pirate 16’s Junior Olympic Volleyball team won the Warren-Alvarado-Oslo tournament on Monday.
Crookston beat Thompson, lost to Red Lake County Central, and beat Warren-Alvarado-Oslo in pool play. In tournament play, they beat Climax-Fisher and Roseau. CeCe Newquist was named player of the match in the final match of the day.
Members of the team are Cadence Corona, Ava Oliver, Cora Prudhomme, Emmagail Frantz, Summer Laundis, Molly Workman, Kenzie Ness, Ali Beeghly, and Cece Newquist. The team is coached by Emilee Tate.
